Early in the year 1952, the US army has worn a special kind of jungle boots with the brown good quality cowhide leather and green fabric upper. The boots has leather leg guard and 2 vents in the inner side for easy to drain off water. This kind of jungle boots disappeared after the escalation of the Vietnam War. During the war, the US army equipped the special developed jungle tactical boots with drain holes and reinforcement belts suitable for the battle in the tropic rainforest.
Nowadays, jungle boots of every country never break through the rudiment of the US jungle boots in the Vietnam War.
Today, the US army wears the boots becoming the standard in 1990 for the battle in the tropic area. The upper is made of green or black nylon and leather. The boots have 2 air vents and are with Panama pattern sole. There is a steel plate in the sole to protect the foot from puncture.
